Nappy Roots, Skyzoo, J-Live and more to perform “ATLiens”
A year after Andre 3000 declared “The south got something to say” at the Source Awards, Outkast dropped ATLiens and changed the trajectory of the Atlanta and hip-hop culture. ATLiens is the unofficial soundtrack of Atlanta.
We are celebrating the 20 year anniversary of ATLiens with a tribute show as part of our 1996 show with Mass Appeal. Mr. DJ (DJ/Producer for Outkast) on the turntables, an all-star band and a collection of artist influenced by Outkast will perform ATLiens from front to back.
The artists performing ATLiens include: Nappy Roots, Nick Grant, Kelechi, Skyzoo, Chase N Cashe, J-Live, Deante’ Hitchcock, Izzy Jone$, Chilly Chills, Michael Aristotle, 3D Na’Tee, Forte Bowie, Phay, Goldyard, Yani Mo, Apollo Ali, Jaye Newton, Jack Preston and special guests.
This show will take place on Saturday, Oct 7th as part of the 1996 Show with Bone Thugs, Too Short, Redman with Def Squad and Bun B... all of whom released classic albums in 1996.
